Choosing new flooring in a bright showroom can be a gamble — colours look entirely different once they're in your actual home. So we do things the other way round.

We roll up in the van with a full selection of samples: carpets, vinyl, LVT, laminate and hardwood. You hold them against your skirting boards, see them in your own light, and make the right choice without any pressure. Because we don't pay for a high-street showroom, our prices are quieter too.

We come to your home at a time that suits you, bring a full book of carpet, LVT, laminate and hardwood samples, and measure every room you're considering. You get an itemised written quote the same day or the day after. No fee, no pressure, no obligation to proceed.

Usually around 7–14 days, depending on the product. Stock carpets and standard LVTs are often available within a week. Specialist wool carpets or imported hardwoods may take a little longer. We'll confirm a firm fitting date as soon as we've placed the order.

No — we move it for you and put it back afterwards. We only ask that you clear small, breakable items (ornaments, lamps, TVs) and anything precious you'd rather handle yourself. Wardrobes, beds, sofas — all fine, leave them to us.

It depends on the room and how it's used. For lounges and bedrooms, a 10–11mm PU foam gives gorgeous comfort and thermal warmth. For stairs, crumb rubber is more durable. For LVT and laminate, a dedicated acoustic underlay keeps footsteps quiet. We'll recommend the right one for each room and explain exactly why.

Laminate is a printed wood-effect layer on a high-density fibreboard core — affordable, tough and quick to fit, but not truly waterproof. LVT (luxury vinyl tile) is made of vinyl layers — more realistic finishes, warmer and softer underfoot, completely waterproof, and available as click-fit or glue-down. LVT costs more but tends to last longer, especially in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways.

We can supply contract-grade carpet tiles, safety vinyl and heavy-duty LVT, and we're very happy to fit out of hours or over a weekend if it keeps the business running.
